Renowned comedian, Craze Crown, has expressed deep disappointment after discovering that the 1 million naira worth of stocks his father had purchased for their family 11 years ago is currently valued at a meager N12,000. His revelation serves as a stark reminder of the economic challenges facing Nigeria and the impact on individual financial investments.
He revealed that as of 2002, their father who thought about safeguarding their future decided to buy shares which he hope would appreciate and turn into a big money.
However, this sadly didn’t turn out to be so as the money had severely depreciated to 11,561.46.
He blew hot at how worthless it had become and wondered what he is expected to do with such meagre sum of money.
