A heated situation unfolded in the BBNaija house when housemate Mercy Eke walked out of a meeting called by the Head of House, Adekunle. The dispute arose after Mercy violated the show's rules by entering the Head of House lounge and requesting Adekunle and his friends Soma, Cross, Seyi, and Frodd to come out to the garden for practice. However, Adekunle and his friends declined, expressing exhaustion and unwillingness to hold a meeting.
Mercy confronted Adekunle, criticizing his behavior and claiming that he was not fulfilling his responsibilities as the Head of House.
In response, Adekunle called a meeting with all the housemates in the lounge, but Mercy stormed out midway, visibly provoked by the situation. Adekunle, unfazed by her actions, asserted that Mercy is not superior to other housemates and that everyone will eventually get a chance to be the Head of House.
Adekunle stated:
"At the end of the day, all the people will be Heads of House. What she just did, walking away, it’s fine. She might be head of house tomorrow. I can do the same as well. That’s just actually to make her know it’s really rubbish.
“One person is not bigger than everybody here. Me making a decision that we’re not going to have this conversation today is because everybody is tired. We’re not going to achieve anything talking tonight.”
