A young woman, aged 24, poured out her feelings of heartbreak and betrayal after her boyfriend presented her with a phone worth N120,000 instead of the desired N345,000 model she had requested for her birthday. Sharing her story on a relationship platform, she expressed her disappointment, believing that her boyfriend, who earns a monthly salary of N400,000, could have easily afforded the more expensive phone she had set her heart on.
The woman described the incident as devastating, feeling unwanted and disrespected by the gesture. She went on to reveal that she had written a lengthy message expressing her grievances to her boyfriend, but shockingly, he stopped responding altogether.
In her plea for advice, she disclosed that it has been four months since their last communication. Despite attempting to reach out to him multiple times through letters and phone calls, he consistently blocks her calls. She admitted that she still loves him dearly, misses him greatly, and that the situation is taking a toll on her mental and physical well-being. Feeling innocent in the matter, she seeks guidance on how to win him back and also welcomes the opinions of others.
