In a distressing situation, a widow and mother of four children has come forward to accuse her late husband's family of attempting to seize their properties. The widow, who appeared in a heartfelt video, has reached out to various influential figures including the Governor of Edo state, the Oba of Benin, and fellow Nigerians, seeking their assistance. According to her, she had a legal marriage with her late husband, who spent a significant portion of his life residing in Europe for 24 years.
She further revealed that her husband returned to Nigeria after being diagnosed with cancer in Europe but unfortunately did not show signs of improvement. Troublingly, she suspects that her husband's family conspired against him, potentially leading to his untimely demise. Overwhelmed with emotion, she narrated, "My husband was sick in Europe and was diagnosed with cancer. He was brought to Nigeria to seek a cure. Unbeknownst to me, his family had some sinister plans to harm him because they desired to claim our property." Tearfully, she added, "As a result, they buried him in an undisclosed location."
