In a remarkable turn of events, travel agents have repaid 5 million Naira to a single mother whom they had previously scammed, all thanks to the intervention of VeryDarkMan.
VeryDarkMan, who gained notoriety for exposing skincare brands, has now become a kind of superhero, advocating for justice against brands that mistreat their customers.
The story began when a single mother, who had fallen victim to a scam, reached out to VeryDarkMan. She explained that she had attempted to obtain a visa to the UK, following her ex-boyfriend's suggestion that she could work as a caregiver there. She dutifully sent money in installments, totaling 7 million Naira, as instructed.
After failing the IELTS countless times, she lost interest in traveling and demanded her money back but they refused to pay her since January.
Reaching to VeryDarkMan, she explained to him her experience with getting scammed and he made a video calling the care giving company, Care Mission UK. They immediately responded, paying her back 5 million Naira for a start.
He ended the video warning travel agents who are participants of this act to stop immediately, while advising Nigerians who like to go through the back door to desist from such.
