A Nigerian food vendor has generated significant buzz online by displaying a banner in front of her shop featuring the image of a lady who allegedly bought food on credit and has not paid.
The banner, which prominently displays the young woman's photo, states that she is banned from purchasing food on credit from the vendor’s shop due to an outstanding debt of N2500.
This drastic measure by the vendor to publicly shame the alleged debtor has led to a flurry of reactions on social media.
The message on the banner reads: “Banned from buying food here on credit. N2500 debt. If seen, please report.”
