The WAEC result of Jisiechimike Chigor Chimdundu, son of a University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) professor, has surfaced online after he checked his 2024 West African Examinations Council (WAEC) results, sparking waves of discussion across social media platforms.
Despite achieving A’s in several subjects, the young scholar was disappointed as his performance did not meet his high expectations.
Jisiechimike, who had previously won a N500,000 prize in an English language contest in July, had set his sights on achieving distinctions in all his subjects in WAEC. His results showcased a strong performance, including distinctions in Biology and Chemistry, and even A1 grades in both Further and General Mathematics. However, he received a B3 in Physics, which did not align with his personal goals and left him feeling disheartened.
His results were impressive by many standards but did not fully meet his high expectations of perfect grades across the board.
The 15-year-old boy's reaction to his results has garnered considerable attention and various responses from netizens.
