Azmeh Dawood, the aunt of the British university student named Suleman, who tragically died in the Titanic submarine ‘implosion,’ discloses that he was extremely afraid of the journey. Suleman, aged 19, and his father, Shahzada Dawood, a Pakistani [/b]businessman, were among the five passengers aboard the OceanGate submersible when it experienced a disastrous implosion just 1,600 feet away from the front of the Titanic.
According to Azmeh, Suleman was not enthusiastic about the trip but decided to join the crew to impress his father and celebrate Father’s Day with him.
The casualties of the expedition include OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, French Navy veteran Paul-Henri (PH) Nargeolet, and British billionaire Hamish Harding, along with the five victims who lost their lives.
During an interview with NBC News, Azmeh stated, “I am thinking of Suleman, who is 19, in there, just perhaps gasping for breath… It’s been crippling, to be honest.”
Since Sunday, Suleman and the other victims have been unaccounted for, and experts indicate that the likelihood of recovering their bodies is minimal.
