[p]Nollywood actor, Sylvester Madu, has addressed the recent viral video in which he was seen selling second-hand items, commonly known as Okrika, at a market in Enugu.
The video, which was shared on social media, caused a stir among fans and garnered mixed reactions. While some expressed concern for the actor, others defended his right to have a legitimate side hustle alongside his acting career.
During a live session on social media, Sylvester Madu responded to the video and criticized those who mocked him. He expressed his disappointment in their behavior and urged people to appreciate the hard work of others instead of resorting to online trolling.
“You stay on your keypad writing rubbish, they are just crazy. Bad market has caught them. That thing they think would be news, let me make it news by myself, very foolish people. A person is doing his hustle, instead of appreciating it, you begin to write nonsense.” Madu stated.
Undeterred by the criticism, Sylvester Madu proudly showcased other items available in his business, including furniture, generators, laptops, shoes, bags, and clothes.
The actor's response shed light on his entrepreneurial spirit and determination to succeed in multiple endeavors. He emphasized the importance of supporting individuals engaged in legitimate businesses rather than engaging in online negativity.
