A young man, described in the video as struggling financially, has drawn widespread attention after sending four hundred thousand naira (N400,000) to his pastor, claiming he did so in hopes of receiving more money in return through divine blessings.
In the now-viral video, the man is seen walking to the altar during a church service, responding to the pastor’s public inquiry. The pastor, who appeared surprised, asked him directly: “Are you the one that sent money to me?” The young man replied affirmatively, confirming he had indeed transferred the large sum despite his difficult financial situation.
Pressing further, the pastor asked again, “Are you the one that sent N400,000 to me?” Once more, the man answered yes, drawing murmurs from the congregation. The pastor then inquired if he wanted blessings in return, to which the man responded simply that what he truly desired was “more money.”
At that point, the pastor instructed the man to remove his shoes as part of a symbolic act of faith, which the man obeyed while standing before the altar. The unusual exchange has since gone viral on social media, with many viewers debating the sincerity of both the man and the pastor.
