The country witnessed its presidential election petition, where cases against the ruling party and President Tinubu were dismissed. In response to the news, Davido expressed his opinion on how elections are won in Nigeria, emphasizing that it's all about ruggedness, with the most rugged often emerging as the winner.

According to the singer, winning elections in Nigeria is all about rugged-ity and it’s the most rugged that usually emerges the winner.
