In a recent video, self-proclaimed matchmaker Lege Miami publicly ridiculed Queen Dami, one of the estranged wives of the late Alaafin of Oyo, for her quest to find love. Queen Dami participated in Lege Miami's dating live session, where he matches singles in search of romantic partners.
During the session, Lege Miami resorted to mocking Queen Dami by criticizing her choice of clothing and expressing disdain for her pursuit of a husband. He went as far as demanding that she wear revealing outfits and speak in English, belittling her in front of the audience.
It should be noted that Queen Dami's marriage to the late Alaafin of Oyo came to an end after she was allegedly locked up for violating a palace rule. Consequently, she left the palace and fled to Lagos in April 2021. Queen Damilola later posted an apology on her Instagram page on October 31st, 2021, expressing regret for her actions and acknowledging that her decision to leave the palace was influenced by frustration and misguided friends.
Despite her public apology and plea for forgiveness and readmission into the palace, the Alaafin of Oyo rejected Queen Damilola, refusing to allow her back.
