Prophet Austin Ariole, the General Overseer of the Goshen Freedom Tabernacle (GFT) in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State, has made a striking revelation. He firmly asserts that Naira Marley, the owner of Marlian record label, is not responsible for the untimely demise of the young artist Mohbad.

In a startling twist, Prophet Ariole points fingers at the deceased's own family's witches, attributing their sinister influence to Mohbad's passing. These claims were made during the Tuesday prayer meeting of the Upper Room team at the Goshen Freedom Tabernacle in Effurun, Ariole.

Prophet Ariole further criticized the Church, asserting that it should shoulder some responsibility for Mohbad's tragic fate. He believes that the Church should have served as a place of refuge and support for the young musician.

He declared, "I don’t like worldly musicians, but I just picked interest in this one, and when I was praying last night, God revealed to me that Naira Marley did not kill Mohbad. Witches from his village killed him."

The prophet went on to suggest that these witches acted out of jealousy upon seeing Mohbad's promising future.

While expressing sympathy for Mohbad's family, Prophet Ariole criticized the late artist's father, suggesting that he didn't do enough to protect his son. He voiced concerns that the father's focus appeared to shift more towards financial matters related to the burial, rather than addressing the tragedy itself.
