Mohbad's childhood friend, Primeboy, has made serious allegations regarding the late singer's wife, suggesting that she is attempting to frame him after he voluntarily turned himself in to the police.
Earlier, the Nigerian Police had issued a wanted poster for Primeboy, offering a reward of 1 million naira to anyone with useful information about his whereabouts.
Primeboy, who has surrendered to the police, was interviewed by reporters from TVC News who were present at the scene.
He expressed bewilderment upon hearing that he was wanted by the police, stating that he had never been invited by them and had not refused any such invitation.
Primeboy explained that Mohbad had asked him to get down from the car they were in while he was having a quarrel with his wife over a certain matter he doesn’t know about.
Lamenting, he said that Mohbad’s wife had begun going online to make statements trying to frame him and rope him into the matter.
