The lady, identified as Grace Edet, took to TikTok to recount her unexpected encounter with her ex-school senior. According to Grace, while sitting at her POS stand, she spotted the senior who used to be notoriously strict and “wicked” back in their school days, now hustling by selling Ponmo on the streets.

In her video post, Grace made a remark about the irony of life, recalling how the senior once treated her in school. She captioned the video …

“My wicked secondary school senior that year hawking Canda now.”

Her video quickly went viral, sparking heated debates online. Many social media users criticized Grace for mocking someone who was making an honest living, while others reminded her that selling Ponmo could actually be more profitable than running a POS business. Some also pointed out that life circumstances could change for anyone, and hustling in any form should not be a basis for mockery.

One user, @better person, said: “If you check am well, she makes more profit than you on a daily. She fit use 2k buy canda, sell am around 7k to 8k. Calculate am, you go see say she fit make profit of 20k to 25k weekly, but you highest wey you fit get for 100k na 3000.”

@deralovely2 remarked: “U sef na my senior dat year oo… na POS else u dey do now… atasa 😂😂😂.”

@Ozioma Doris762 wrote: “Gain from kanda pass the one from POS.”

@MIohammed Alex added: “And you’re doing POS, two different atasa’s 😭😭😂.”

@Nzubechukwu victor Adizue wrote: “U dey do POS and she dey sell Canada, both of una never still make am 😂.”

@kissmora also commented: “No be POS you de do?? You don make am?? Do you know how much she makes from that canda??”

The incident has since stirred conversations about humility, respect, and the dignity of labor, with many insisting that regardless of past experiences, no one deserves to be mocked for striving to survive honestly.
