A Muslim philanthropist faced a setback after mistakenly transferring N500k instead of N50k to a woman in need during Ramadan, leading to his subsequent blocking on social media.
The generous individual, known as @Iampenlord on Twitter, has garnered recognition for his charitable deeds, often extending assistance to those facing hardships.
Upon receiving a private message from a woman seeking aid during Ramadan due to lack of food, he swiftly offered his support.
Moved by her dire situation, he requested her account details to facilitate the transfer of N50k. However, due to an error, he mistakenly sent N500k instead.
Realizing the mistake, he promptly informed the woman and requested the excess amount to be refunded, amounting to N450k.
Unfortunately, the woman reacted by blocking him on social media and disabling her account, severing all communication channels.
The philanthropist expressed his disappointment over the unexpected turn of events but remains hopeful for a positive resolution.
