Despite their significant wins, the company allegedly refused to release their winnings, citing an error made by a staff member in generating the odds they had bet on. Undeterred, the individuals demanded the payout they rightfully earned.

In response, several celebrities and netizens, including Okon Lagos and Timi Dakolo, voiced their support for the individuals, urging 1xBet to honor the payout.

Okon Lagos stated, "If and only if this is true, then I’m with them. Pay them their money!!!" Similarly, Timi Dakolo insisted, “Pay them their money if this is true. @1xbet.nigeria. If they have lost, we wouldn’t hear about the mistakes of your employees.”

Other individuals, such as xxssive, drjerryscofield, i.karlis, and stayc33_, joined the chorus, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation and calling for justice. Some even questioned the credibility of the odds, suggesting that legal action may be necessary to resolve the matter.
