A popular pastor based in Akwa Ibom, named Runcie Mike, tragically passed away just two days after conducting the funeral service for the 36-year-old daughter of one of his church members. Pastor Runcie Mike served as the Lead Pastor of The Evening Church located in Uyo, the capital city of Akwa Ibom state. His church is situated at the Shopping Mall, Tropicana Centre in Uyo. According to a report from The Nation, the pastor died on Saturday, July 1, in Uyo after a brief illness.
Initially, when news of his passing began to circulate, some members of the church believed it to be fake news. However, the church leadership later confirmed the sad news. In response to the pastor's untimely death, the church requested prayers from the body of Christ and specifically asked for support for his immediate family during this time of grief.
