Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has responded to accusations circulating on social media and other platforms that claim he obtains his powers from demonic entities. These allegations have persisted for some time, with individuals asserting that he employs demonic powers to perform miracles and heal the sick, and some even going as far as suggesting he has made a pact with the devil. During a recent church service on Sunday, July 16th, Pastor Adeboye addressed these accusations directly.
In his response, Pastor Adeboye acknowledged that he had heard reports stating that his powers originate from demons at Redemption Camp. However, instead of engaging in a direct response to the individual who made these claims, he chose to respond by praying for him. The clergyman emphasized that the man had committed an unpardonable sin by attributing the glory meant for God to demons. To support his stance, Pastor Adeboye cited examples from the Bible and reiterated his commitment to praying for the person spreading such rumors.
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), under the leadership of Pastor Adeboye, is one of Nigeria's largest and most influential churches, with a global presence in over 190 countries. Pastor Adeboye's response reflects his conviction and determination to address these accusations with prayer rather than engaging in direct confrontation.
