Taking to his Instagram account, Ola of Lagos reminisced about his past struggles as a cleaner who had to beg for transportation fare to move around Lagos State.

Displaying two of his luxurious cars and his house, he wrote,

“Although these cars may pale in comparison to the collections in many garages, I still express my gratitude to God for what He has done, as this is just the beginning…

“I used to be a cleaner, and I remember when I couldn't even afford the bus fare from Lekki to Ajah. Sometimes, I would approach strangers and request for a lift so that we could share the fare. Now, we are achieving great things (Thank God), and the best part is that God's plans for me have only just begun. I haven't seen anything yet. God is truly good, and my heart remains pure. Count your blessings, give thanks, because He has more in store...

“Don't let the opinions of others hinder you from pursuing your dreams. Stay true to yourself. I want to shout out to everyone who has supported me from day one until now. I sincerely appreciate your unwavering support."

He also took a moment to acknowledge the well-known blogger and entertainer, Tunde Ednut, for his consistent support throughout Ola of Lagos' journey.

He added, "A special shoutout to @mufasatundeednut, a father figure to many. I deeply appreciate your support. Truly, I appreciate it. You can watch my story on YouTube if you are unaware of how Ola of Lagos started. I am now a global figure. (Ranked among the top 10 most talked-about individuals all over Africa. Stop playing)."
