Munachimso Brian Nwanna, a 22-year-old content developer and culinary consultant, has claimed the global record for the highest number of fast food establishments visited in a single day. He surpassed the previous record of 100 establishments set by American YouTuber Airrack last year by visiting 150 restaurants.

Before Airrack, the record was held by popular TikTok personalities Lynn “Lynja” Davis and Nick DiGiovanni. Both previous attempts occurred in New York City, whereas Brian’s attempt took place in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria.

In Abuja, public transport options are limited, so Brian had to walk the entire distance to achieve this record, as private vehicles were not permitted. His attempt involved covering a distance of more than 25 kilometers (15 miles) on foot, beginning at Chicken Republic in the Gwarinpa residential area and concluding at Kilimanjaro, a fast food restaurant in the city center.

Brian set his start time at 5 p.m. and included a nine-hour rest period between midnight and 9 a.m. during his record attempt.

The Guinness World Record organization highlighted the feat with the statement: “Nigerian social media star @BrianNwana travelled 25 kilometres on foot whilst visiting 150 fast food restaurants in 24 hours, smashing the previous record by 50 👏”
