The tweet also included a picture of the two immigration officials leading the prayer session. @gkbalogs stated that after the praise worship session, they recited the Hail Mary and then called an alfa (Islamic cleric) to lead a prayer. To ensure balance, both Islamic and Christian recitations were done.

The incident has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some users questioning the appropriateness of religious activities in government offices, while others expressed admiration for the officials' display of faith. Nonetheless, it remains unclear whether such religious activities are permitted in government offices in Nigeria.
