Mr. Romanus Ejikeme, the father of Mmesoma Ejikeme, who was reportedly involved in forging her 2023 UTME result, has issued an apology to JAMB and Nigerians. He states that his daughter had deceived him, leading to the unfortunate incident.
During a recent interview with NTA, Mr. Ejikeme admitted that his daughter had not been forthcoming about her actions. He expresses his sincerest apologies to JAMB and the Nigerian public for his daughter's actions.

In his statement, Mr. Ejikeme says, "My daughter did not confide in me promptly; when I discovered her mistake, I reprimanded her. I told her, Mmesoma, be careful; you know you are a star and should not tarnish your reputation. However, as a father, I am still appealing to JAMB and Nigerians to forgive her."
