A married Nigerian lady took to social media to express her distress after her mother-in-law provided her with a helper who, instead of offering assistance, required constant support and care. The concerned wife shared a series of videos that quickly went viral, sparking a debate among netizens about the appropriateness of the mother-in-law's choice.
In her social media posts, the married Nigerian lady shed light on her unexpected predicament. Initially, she had requested her mother-in-law's assistance in finding a young girl to support her with household tasks and childcare responsibilities, hoping to lighten her daily workload. However, the reality turned out to be far from her expectations.
Videos shared online showed the young girl sleeping on the same bed as the woman's baby, indicating a level of dependency rather than providing the intended assistance. Frustrated with the situation, the lady expressed her dissatisfaction, as she had unwittingly become the one providing help to the girl instead of receiving it.
