A man from Benin, who goes by the name Mr. Marvelous, has reportedly sent a written notice to the mother of his pregnant girlfriend, notifying her of the pregnancy and warning her of the consequences if her daughter decides to terminate the pregnancy.
Marvelous claimed to have been in a relationship with the daughter for six months, and on December 8th, 2022, she informed him that she was pregnant. To verify the pregnancy, they both went for a medical test, which confirmed that she was one month pregnant.
The notice, which was addressed to the pregnant girlfriend's mother, read as follows: "Our client informed us that on 8th December, 2022, your daughter came to his store to inform him of her position, and in other for him to verify for himself, they both went for a medical test, wherein they were told she was one month pregnant. So our client has directed us to write you that he is ready to father his baby with any let. Take notice if the baby is terminated, we have our client's instruction to petition you to the commissioner of police and sue you in the court of law. TAKE WARNING."
The notice was accompanied by a photo, which was posted on social media and has since gone viral.
