Antony, now a single father of two, revealed that his marriage was marred by endless humiliation at the hands of his wife, who eventually left him, abandoning their baby with him.

During an emotional interview on Citizen TV's "Shajara with Lulu" show, Antony, with tears in his eyes, recounted their journey, which began in 2016 when they quickly tied the knot.

Antony shared the painful experiences of catching his wife holding hands with other men on the streets, leading to confrontations that often resulted in physical altercations.

In his own words:

"I would leave for work at 5 a.m. and come back around midnight. One day a neighbor called me and informed me there was a man in our house, and he left immediately after I arrived. This was after neighbors told me they had spotted my wife with other men.

"She started drinking, and I would find her holding hands with other men on the road. Every time I confronted them, they would attack and beat me up."

Antony went on to explain that he stopped sharing the matrimonial bed with his wife, opting to sleep in their children's room instead. This decision drove his wife to the breaking point, and she informed him one night that she was ending their marriage, leaving their kids with him.

"She took the children with her but returned them in the morning, including the one who was only three months old at the time. I begged her to stay, especially for the youngest, whom I believed needed her mother, but she refused," he lamented.

Antony also revealed that being a single father of two children created difficulties in his life, including missed job opportunities because he couldn't leave his children unattended.

"I would leave my children unattended and go look for work, which always worried me deeply. Sometimes I would come home with nothing, forcing me to give them water because I didn't have food for them," he shared.

Antony's heartbreaking story sheds light on the challenges faced by individuals in difficult marriages and the resilience needed to navigate such situations, especially when children are involved.
