A heartbroken Nigerian man has taken to social media to cry out for help, advice, and emotional support after making a shocking discovery just two months into his marriage.
The man, identified as Osayande Raphael Osaretin, revealed in a lengthy post that his wife has been having an ongoing affair with another man. According to him, the extramarital relationship started long before their wedding but unfortunately has continued even after they tied the knot. He lamented that the situation has not only shattered his peace but also disrupted the future he and his wife had hoped to build together.
Osaretin disclosed that the man in question constantly supports his wife financially, thereby influencing her decisions and commitment to their home. This, he explained, has left him feeling deeply betrayed and disrespected as a husband.
In his emotional outpouring, he narrated how the discovery has left him broken and restless. He admitted that he has been battling sleepless nights, unending thoughts, and overwhelming emotional distress. For him, the betrayal was more devastating because his wife presented herself as a devoted church worker who appeared to uphold moral values in public, only to be secretly involved with another man behind his back.
Sharing his story, he wrote:
“My Story — Please, I m Need Help
I recently got married, but within just two months, I discovered my wife has been unfaithful. This affair actually started before I even came into the picture, and sadly, it has continued even after our marriage. She receives money and support from another man, and it has affected everything we planned together.
Since finding out, my life has turned upside down. I can’t sleep, I can’t think straight, and I keep asking myself why someone would knowingly destroy both her own home and another woman’s home. To make matters worse, she presents herself as a committed church worker, which makes the betrayal even more painful.
I’m sharing this because I feel broken, disappointed, and confused. Nigerians, I need your advice and prayers. I don’t want to carry this pain alone. How do I handle this? How do I protect my peace when the marriage I entered with love and hope has already been damaged by infidelity?
