But recently, I discovered she hadn’t bought anything. Instead, she spent the money I gave her on a multilevel marketing business selling products, hoping to make quick profits.
When I confronted her, she admitted it but tried to justify it as an “investment.” I feel betrayed, not only because the wedding is so close, but also because she lied. I don’t know how to handle this moving forward. I can’t even tell my people this update.”
