A Nigerian man expressed bewilderment after visiting a tricycle shop and discovering the exorbitant cost of purchasing one. He shared his dismay in a TikTok video posted by @unclenasco, where he had gone to serve as a guarantor for someone interested in a hire-purchase arrangement.

Lamenting that tricycles are now financially out of reach for the common man, he questioned the escalating challenges, stating, “Keke is now sold for 2.6 Million Nigerian Naira, and 1 dollar is now 1,800 Naira. Things are getting worse every hour of the day. Is this how we are going to continue?”

The man speculated that the surge in prices could be attributed to the scarcity of US Dollars.
