According to his post, he had specifically ordered 12 wraps of Amala, along with 3 pieces of beef and 3 assorted meats. However, upon receiving his order, he was shocked to find that he had only been delivered 3 pieces of beef, falling far short of what he had expected. This left him feeling unsatisfied and frustrated with the vendor's service.

In his post, the man also highlighted his disappointment regarding the meager portions of Ewedu and stew that accompanied his meal, stating that the quantities provided were far less than what he anticipated for a meal of that size. He felt that the small amount made it seem as if he was “begging for food,” which added to his dissatisfaction with the entire order experience.

To emphasize his point and highlight the discrepancies in his order, he shared a screenshot of the original order details. He expressed his dismay by writing, “This is totally unacceptable. I ordered from Amoke Oge, requesting 3 beef and 3 assorted meats, and this is what I’m getting? The Ewedu and stew weren’t even enough—it felt like I was begging for the food. @chowdeck what’s going on?” His post resonated with many, quickly gaining traction as others joined the conversation to share their own similar experiences with the vendor.

As his post circulated, several users chimed in with their reactions and grievances regarding their own orders. The thread illuminated a pattern of dissatisfaction with Amoke Oge's service. Some notable responses included:

@maybesaffs: “Amoke Oge is used to these lmfao, I don’t think it’s the rider's fault; I ordered Amala and they forgot the Amala and brought only the soup.”

@ms_lindaa: “Amoke Oge needs to do better for real. I found maggots in my food the last time I ordered from their branch in Surulere. Too bad I was almost done eating before I noticed.”

@Remmzor__: “Sorry for your experience, but where are the other 11 Amala, and how you wan finish am?”

@Rukee_xo: “They are used to it; I got jollof, and they just sprinkled it inside my plate. I complained to Chowdeck using Chowdeck support, and they refunded me 500 Naira.”

@favouryuwa: “Has Chowdeck responded? You can send them this in-app. Had this issue with the place, and my chicken was replaced.”
