Man declared wanted for stealing a phone belonging to a new member of a popular Nigerian church in Port Harcourt.
It was reported that the incident occurred at the RCCG Christ Ambassadors Youth Church on Peter Odili Road, Port Harcourt.
Security footage from the church’s CCTV [/b]camera caught the suspect red-handed, showing him stealing the phone after the new member asked him to charge it.
The suspect, dressed in a pullover sweater, had posed as an usher and gained the victim’s trust. Instead of plugging in the phone, he took it and quickly left the church.
The incident was captured on video, which is now circulating online. The church and authorities are working together to identify and catch the culprit.
