Distinguished media personality, Latasha Lagos, has taken issue with veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo regarding his comments about the performance of female housemates in BBNaija All Stars.
This controversy arises from a viral clip circulating from season 8 of the reality show, where housemates were given general knowledge questions, and many of them struggled to answer.
In response to the clip, Kanayo O. Kanayo criticized the organizers for using the N120 million grand prize on 'incorrect people who are only correct in their bum bum.'
However, Latasha Lagos condemned the statement, labeling it as misogynistic for targeting only the female housemates, despite both male and female contestants struggling with the same quiz.
Responding to the actor, she respectfully pointed out that both genders should be held accountable, rather than singling out only the males. She commented, “With all due respect sir, the men failed just as badly as the women. I hear what you’re saying but your advice should cut across BOTH genders please.”
