Officials of the Lagos State Government [/b]took action on a Sunday night by closing down a lounge in Lekki, even with customers enjoying their time inside.
These government workers, who introduced themselves as employees of the state Ministry of Environmental and Water Resources, arrived at the lounge, surprising the patrons and instructing them to vacate the premises as it was about to be shut down.
The lounge-goers were in the midst of their evening when this unexpected shutdown occurred.
The State Commissioner for Environmental and Water Resources, Wahab Tokunboh, clarified that the lounge, along with other establishments in the vicinity, faced closure due to various environmental violations.
