A Nigerian lady has stirred up social media with her story of how her partner, whom she met at NYSC camp, opted to marry her instead of his girlfriend of 7 years.
The lady, known as @oxyjene on TikTok, recounted that she fell in love with a guy from Port Harcourt during her National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) camp in Kubwa.
At one point, the guy's original girlfriend of seven years contacted her to verify that there was nothing going on between them.
In a surprising twist, the lady disclosed that she recently got married to the same partner.
In her own words: “Sitting here with my lashes and drinking mirinda and eating pizza because life didn’t end when I went to Nysc camp and fell in love with a port harcourt boy just for his ex to call me one spring chicken Sunday evening to tell me she’s his girlfriend of 7years and she wanted to make sure there was nothing between us… anyways I married him last week.”
