In a surprising revelation, a lady shares the dramatic aftermath of a breakup by recounting a bold move she made. Following the end of her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, the Twitter user @KgodishoMoloto admits to admitting herself to the hospital in a desperate attempt to gain his attention.
In an unusual twist, she pleaded with a nurse to contact her ex-boyfriend and request his presence at the hospital. In a somewhat morbid manner, she made it appear as though her life was in danger. To her dismay, when her ex-boyfriend arrived, he brought along the girl he had left her for.
Adding insult to injury, her ex-boyfriend pretended that she, the narrator, was merely her cousin in order to conceal their past relationship from his new girlfriend.
In her own words:
"I admitted myself at the hospital, begged the nurse to call him and ask him to please come by. Well, I made it sound like a death wish kind of a request. Soon as I heard that he was coming, I had to open my eyes slightly just to get a glimpse of his reaction soon as he walked in. Man came in with the girl he told me he was seeing and leaving me for. He had flowers and she carried a fruit basket. 'How's my cousin? Is she going to be alright?' he asked the nurse that was attending me at that time. I think I died twice and came back."
