According to Somi Blaze, the unfortunate turn of events began when her fiancé arrived to pay her bride-price. It was at this point that her brother allegedly pulled the man aside and made disparaging comments about her character, claiming she was ‘wayward’ and unfit for marriage, despite being his sister.

Following the conversation with her brother, her fiancé reportedly decided to cancel the marriage entirely, leaving the lady feeling hurt, betrayed, and seeking retribution for what she considered fraudulent interference by her own family member.

In response, Somi claimed she reported her brother to the EFCC, accusing him of engaging in deceptive practices that negatively impacted her life and relationship.

She described the incident further, stating …

“My man came to pay my bride price, my cousin brother took him aside and said ‘even though she’s my sister, get a DND when she starts giving birth, she’s too wayward.’ The marriage was canceled. Guess who’s now facing the EFCC? Me, because I stole his phone and texted all of his clients that he’s a scammer, sharing his picture, location, and real number.”[/p>
