A young Nigerian lady has landed in serious trouble after she allegedly withdrew the sum of ₦500 from her boyfriend’s bank account without his permission, using it to purchase mobile data for herself. The incident, which has now gone viral, has sparked heated debate on social media about relationships, abuse, and financial boundaries.
In the widely circulated video, the lady was captured kneeling on the ground while pleading for forgiveness from an individual believed to be closely associated with her boyfriend. Despite her repeated apologies, the situation quickly escalated when her supposed boyfriend arrived at the scene. In an unexpected turn, he lashed out at her physically, flogging her repeatedly while expressing anger and frustration over the missing ₦500.
The video further showed the young man flogging her relentlessly while she sobbed in pain, unable to defend herself. What shocked many viewers even more was the boyfriend’s demeanor—he appeared to take pleasure in the act, smiling and even dancing at intervals as he continued the assault. The disturbing scene has since drawn widespread condemnation online.
