According to @UnclePamilerin, the event took place at a recent wedding of a friend. In his post, he revealed that the lady deceived the event planners by claiming to be the bride’s sister and misled the bride by presenting herself as a member of the event planning team.

Under these false pretenses, she managed to steal the bride’s phone and all the cash that was sprayed on the couple.

“The lady circled came to my friend’s wedding and stole from them.

Apparently, she lied to the event planner that she’s the bride’s sister and to the couple that she works with the event planner 😭

She even had a vendor tag, which made her seem legitimate.

She stole all the money that was sprayed on the couple and even took the bride’s phone.”

Another netizen, @Ibukunolwa_Ade, alleged that she had done something similar at a wedding he covered in June.

@Ibukunolwa_Ade said …

“Is this not the same woman? 🤔

She stole bridesmaids’ bags, phones, and cash at a wedding I covered in June. She lied to the bride that she was with the caterers and to the vendors that she was one of the bride’s friends.”

Reactions have followed …

@dat_deltagirl said: “Wait a minute, before her sudden appearance at the wedding, did the couple make no plans for a family member or trusted friend to be in charge of their sprayed money?”

@Ada_Ojilibeka wrote: “How could she get her hands on the money? Didn’t they have someone responsible for it?? I trust Twitter to find her sha.”

@oluwajobabiola stated: “So people come to parties just to steal. Ìwà burúkú”
