This move follows Pete Edochie's recent recognition of May Edochie, the first wife of Judy Austin's husband, Yul Edochie. Notably, Pete Edochie had expressed surprise and disapproval regarding Yul's relationship with Judy Austin.
In his own words, Pete Edochie used Igbo proverbs to convey his sentiments, metaphorically linking Yul's choice to introducing a foreign and problematic element into the family. He mentioned that this choice could attract negative consequences and disturbances akin to lizards visiting an individual who collects firewood infested with ants.
Pete Edochie went on to commend May Edochie, attributing the success of Yul and May's 18-year marriage to her influence. He affectionately referred to her as not just his daughter-in-law but also his cherished one, implying that he holds her in higher regard compared to his other daughters-in-law. Praising May's exceptional brilliance and technical prowess, he described her as a computer wizard.
Evidently displeased with Pete Edochie's remarks, especially the proverbs directed at her, Judy Austin decided to remove the birthday post she had shared on her Instagram page in honor of Pete Edochie in March. Upon inspection of her Instagram account, it becomes apparent that both her birthday tribute and anniversary posts dedicated to Pete Edochie have been taken down, indicating a significant shift in their relationship dynamics.
