The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the UTME result slip of Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma, addressing the controversy surrounding her alleged manipulated and forged score of 362.
JAMB's spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, had previously accused Ejikeme of manually tampering with her UTME result to secure a N3 million scholarship from Innoson Motors. However, during an interview on Channels TV, Benjamin presented Ejikeme's JAMB result, which indicated that she scored 249 in the exam, contradicting the 362 score displayed on her result slip.
This development emerges shortly after JAMB revealed instances of candidates inflating their UTME results and defrauding individuals by claiming exceptional scores through the use of certain software. JAMB specifically mentioned Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma, who purportedly scored 362, and Atung Gerald from Kaduna state, who claimed a score of 380. However, investigations revealed that neither of them had obtained the necessary UTME application documents nor participated in the examination.
