Nigeria's chef, Hilda Baci, has received a flood of congratulations as she achieves a remarkable feat by breaking the cooking time record held by Lata Tondon, the current Guinness World Records holder. Lata Tondon, an Indian chef, had set the record in 2019 by cooking non-stop for an astonishing 87 hours and 45 minutes.
Hilda has surpassed this impressive milestone by cooking for over 87 hours, with just 6 hours of rest time. She still has about 7 hours remaining to establish her own record. The support for Hilda from Nigerians has been overwhelming, with celebrities such as actress Iyabo Ojo, Tonto Dikeh, comedian Macaroni, actor Ike Ogbonna, and Tobi Bakre among others showing their encouragement and admiration for the chef.
