A herbalist named Isiaka Ogunkoya has been apprehended by the Osun state police command for the murder of a pastor named Kalejaye Ezekiel. The motive behind the crime was the herbalist's quest for ritual purposes, which unfolded after the pastor sought him out in search of spiritual powers.
The 48-year-old herbalist admitted to his actions after being intercepted while en route to the Isoyin area of the state. Upon his arrest, he was found in possession of various human body parts, which he confessed belonged to the pastor who had approached him seeking supernatural abilities.
In his own words, the herbalist stated, "I k#lled the pastor for rit¥als. I needed to utilize a human sacrifice during that time, and the pastor conveniently came to me requesting more spiritual powers to expand his church membership. I saw it as a golden opportunity to fulfill the rit¥ual requirements. I provided him with a s¥bstance to drink, which caused him to fall into a deep sleep. Subsequently, I proceeded to dismember him, extracting his heart and intestines to create a concoction."
The arrest and subsequent confession shed light on a gruesome act committed by the herbalist, who took advantage of the pastor's pursuit of spiritual powers, ultimately resulting in a tragic loss of life. The investigation into the matter continues as authorities work to gather more evidence and bring justice to the victim and his grieving community.
