An armed robber, identified as Damien Boyce, has been apprehended after reportedly robbing a woman, Amber Beraun, in Indianapolis, USA. According to reports from WRTV, Beraun was targeted by Boyce while she was collecting her mail one evening in May. Boyce approached her, brandishing a gun, and demanded entry into her home. However, Beraun refused and instead handed over approximately $100 in cash.

Apparently unsatisfied with the amount, Boyce proceeded to ask Beraun if she had a boyfriend and insisted that she connect with him on Facebook. In an attempt to diffuse the situation, Beraun added Boyce on Facebook, hoping that he would leave her alone. Following the robbery, Beraun immediately began receiving messages from Boyce, who allegedly wrote, "Damn you was too pretty to rob" and claimed he would repay her.

Beraun responded to Boyce's messages, expressing belief in his purported sincerity and understanding that times can be tough. However, this response seemed to embolden the criminal, who continued to message her and even invited her to "come chill." The entire incident has left Beraun feeling shaken and paranoid, especially within her neighborhood, where she now feels on edge due to the presence of individuals looking for opportunities to commit crimes.

In a separate incident on June 12, Boyce was charged by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department for another armed robbery. During this incident, Boyce allegedly shot two people, as well as striking another individual in the head with a brick, following an argument. Boyce reportedly barricaded himself before surrendering to a SWAT team.

As a result, Boyce now faces multiple charges, including burglary, unlawful possession of a weapon, criminal recklessness, and battery. These incidents highlight the potential dangers posed by criminals and the lasting impact they can have on their victims, leaving communities on high alert and concerned for their safety.
