Controversial actor, Yul Edochie, has received a cold response from Ghanaians after weighing into the online fight between Nigerians and Ghanaians over the ownership of highlife music.
Yul Edochie stated that he recently came across a video of Ghanaians claiming ownership of highlife music, and he felt the need to share his perspective on the ongoing debate.
Expressing his stance, Yul declared emphatically that highlife music belongs to Nigeria and credited highlife giants such as Oliver de Coque, Sir Warrior, and other notable names for their significant contributions to the genre.
However, his statement triggered mixed reactions, particularly from Ghanaians who dismissed him as seeking attention (clout chaser).
