The incident took place on the streets of Agbani, where Nwashara encountered the stranded child. Acting as a good Samaritan, he took to Twitter to share the courageous act of saving the baby's life, who was living on the streets at the time.
Nwashara's initial tweet described the situation, stating, "I just picked an abandoned 2-year-old baby by the roadside somewhere in Agbani, Enugu State. She was given birth to by a mad woman who normally stays at Eke Agbani. Took her to the police station and the DPO said we should take her home and clean her up and bring her back tomorrow."
Fast forward to a year later, and Nwashara recently posted an update showcasing the rescued baby's remarkable progress. In the photo shared on Twitter, the child appeared well-fed and well-taken care of. The caption accompanying the photo expressed Nwashara's joy and gratitude for witnessing the transformation of the little girl. He wrote, "I'm the one doing Birthday, and I'm also the one buying present. Her birthday is on Saturday 17th though."
