An Edo state 'big man' has been caught for allegedly stealing a bottle of Hennessy VSOP worth N58,000 from a supermarket in the state. Ogedengbe Oiseoruemi Ayodeji Uduaghe, a Facebook user, shared this incident with his Facebook friends on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. He posted, "PASTED AS FORWARDED TO ME WITHOUT PREJUDICE: This old dude just stole VSOP costing 58,000 in Hallmark supermarket Benin City. This is not hunger. Let HALLMARK & THE POLICE CONFIRM PLEASE." Along with the post, he attached a photo showing the suspect kneeling down to beg at the supermarket after being caught.
In other news, a lady who allegedly stole dresses and wig caps from another lady to use in TikTok video content has been apprehended. The video of the incident was shared by the former friend of the alleged thief and depicted the moment the owner of the stolen items confronted the suspect at her residence. According to the video sharer, the clothes and wig caps used by the lady for her TikTok videos were stolen after she was brought to the residence to rent a vacant apartment. The video sharer decided to betray her former friend because the victim had involved the police in the theft case.
A source revealed, "I helped her in getting accommodation, and the only way she could repay me was by stealing someone's luggage of clothes and hair. She uses the stolen items to make several videos on her TikTok. I was told to 'produce' her since I was the one that brought her to the residence. We found her and taught her a brief lesson before handing her over to the authorities."
