Doyinsola David, popularly known as Doyin, claps back at trolls who criticized her for mentioning Adekunle's mom while criticizing him.
During a reunion episode of BBNaija Season 7, Doyin expressed her grievances with her co-star, Adekunle, and extensively criticized him. One of her remarks included stating that Adekunle owed his mother an apology for disregarding the values she instilled in him.
This comment sparked a negative response from many online users who criticized her for involving Adekunle's mother in their argument.
In response to the backlash, Doyin clarified that she didn't insult Adekunle's mother, but rather meant that he disregarded the values she taught him.
She stated:
"I never insulted his mom. My words were, 'he owes his mom an apology for throwing her home training in the gutter.' In other words, she raised him with certain values, but he neglected them, so he owes her an apology. If your problem is with understanding English, this is a good opportunity for you to go back to school."
