The Nigerian musician Davido has confirmed his marriage to his fiancée Chioma Rowland. The couple reportedly married during Davido's social media break.
Davido discussed his time away from the spotlight, including reflection, family time, and music-making, in an interview with skit maker Kiekie. He said that before his break, he had an album ready and had traveled extensively. When asked if he missed his fans, he said that he had never taken that kind of break before.
Davido said:
“Just being away, I have had a lot to think about, time to rest, reflect on a lot of family time, and definitely a time to make music again and remake the album.
Before I went on break, I actually had an album ready. I travelled, it was cr@zy. I am married. A lot of different things but we’re ready to get back on the road, tour…..”.
When Kiekie asked if he missed his fans, lovers and well wishers. Davido said, “Definitely, I have never taken these kind of break”.
