A female NYSC corper recently shared a humorous update regarding her efforts to avoid being posted to teach in a school during her service year. The update, posted on her TikTok account (@susuofaka), revealed that she reached out to her NYSC "plug" for assistance in steering clear of an educational assignment.
In the video, which can be found on her TikTok profile, the corper explained that she expressed her reluctance to serve in a school to her NYSC plug. In response, the plug provided her with specific instructions on how to circumvent the teaching assignment.
According to the shared details, the plug advised her to deliberately avoid speaking good English and to feign a poor understanding of grammar when submitting her letter to the school. Additionally, the plug suggested that she stammer during the interaction, creating an impression that she was unsuitable for a teaching position in the classroom.
Based on subsequent comments from the corper, the plan proved successful as the school rejected her offer to teach, leading to her being posted to an alternative location.
This surprising update has elicited various reactions, with some expressing shock and others considering the tactic for themselves when faced with a potential teaching assignment during their service year.
