Mohbad's childhood friend, known as Primeboy, has vehemently denied the widespread allegations linking him to the singer's tragic demise.
Reports had suggested that Primeboy was involved in an incident during Mohbad's performance in Ikorodu, an incident that was purportedly linked to the singer's untimely passing.
Taking to his Instagram page, Primeboy has firmly refuted these claims and underlined the deep bond he shared with Mohbad, emphasizing that he had no motive to harm his friend.
Expressing his frustration, he implored the public not to spread baseless rumors and clarified that during the alleged incident, Mohbad's wife and other individuals were present, emphasizing that he did not engage in any altercation with the singer.
In a statement, the late singer's friend pleaded, "Please, I know nothing about it. I did not even touch MOH; he hit me. I did not even do anything. God knows his wife was there also, and the Prado man and security. Please, do not say what you don't know; make your investigation. I did not have any issues with Moh; he called me all the time. I don't stay with them, please and please I know nothing."
Despite Primeboy's denial, many netizens remain skeptical and continue to call for a comprehensive investigation to uncover the truth behind Mohbad's tragic death.
